Giovanna is a board-certified adult nurse practitioner who serves as the lead advance practice provider at Mount St. Mary’s Hospital in Lewiston, NY. She completed her master’s degree in nursing at the University at Buffalo nurse practitioner program before going on to receive her doctorate from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. Giovanna is specially trained in the care of critically ill patients, completing several Critical Care Support Programs. Her dedicated work has been recognized with accolades including the Advanced Practice Practitioner of the year, Catholic Health Outstanding Performer, and Catholic Health Patient Experience awards. She has traveled to Cuba for medical humanity missions in 2018 and 2020 providing care for underserved communities.
